Linux memory usage explained here

Most of us will get surrise by seeing “top” out put of linux box…it shows almost all memory in use why ? what are the different buz words in “TOP” out put? what are “buffers”? what is cached memory ? exactly how much memory  is in use ? like so many ..questions. Best thread i found at gentoo forum
