Airtel is the best dsl connection provider but it has one drawback – less area coverage. ok i got new airtel connection. beetel 220BX1 is the modem given by them. When i used last time – i optin for zyxel router. So port forwarding and DMZ is easy to setup. With same confidence opened modem admin interface.. Bingo ! shocking no where advanced configuration menu.Before calling customer care – i checked with our dearest friend 
google.Then i got solution you need to go http://192.168.1.1/main.html , there you can various advanced options. Thanks to google and person who shared this info

hey i just bhought a beetel modem ,and i need to enter 192.168.1.1 to configure it…but… the page doesn’t open…so can u tell me what to do?
just type in 192.168.1.1/main.html/?
First configure your pc network card ip address to 19.2.168.1.2 . ane make sure that that you can ping 192.168.1.1 from your pc. Now from your browser you can access http://192.168.1.1

Hi Amit,
For Beetel 220BX1 you just need to keep holding down the reset button (by inserting pointed object in a small hole at the back of the modem).
Ensure you keep it pressed for 30 seconds by watch …. otherwise it would do a soft reset.
Somehow the port i forward from that site keeps on resetting on its own
I bet those bastards at Airtel keep on doing that

could be id=>admin and password=>password
Default username is admin and password is password.
username: admin
password: password
hey its simple d user is “admin” n d password is “password”

hey i have a beetel 220bx1 adsl2 modem…i’ve been downloading torrents for a long time since today i had a problem with the modem! i’ve called the service provider and they helped me to reconfigure the modem BUT NOW I CAN’T DOWNLOAD TORRENT!!!
I was downloading windows 7 aio and it reached 90%(3.72Gb file size 3.37Gb downloaded) but now i won’t download!! help please
