Like air pollution, water pollution and sound pollution, Now cyber pollution is causing problem in this information age. Origin of Cyber pollution is digital scrape like duplicate content and unnecessary data.
With respect to above statement, I agree with duplicate data. Google already started campaign against duplicate data. Although I am not sure how Google consider particular data as duplicate.
Basic purpose of web is to share data. Sharing data means same information will be shared by multiple websites. Always it not possible that only source website can share news to all internet users.
My next point, how to define “unnecessary” data. Data that is not necessary to me, may be important to others?
