DDOS the word shivering major IT organizations. Yesterday Paypal undergone this wave causing 8 hours of outage. This DDOS operation not against paypal services or there is no wrong with existing Paypal services. Issue is Paypal withdrawn its services to famous wikileaks.
Few days back DDOS attack on Wikileaks due to leakage of USA confidential data to Internet. Two Gangs supporting Wikileaks and one not supporting Wikileaks.
Once upon a time DDOS used to down a website if it presents any controversial data hurting any one. It related to religion,race, beliefs or anything hurting our feelings.
Later criminal DDOS gangs formed and started attack for money. Unfortunately those gangs supported by Business people and even Governments also.
Now DDOS like toy , “If you don’t like any product in e-bay , DDOS it and down entire E-bay“, in this way people are thinking now.
