I withdrawn BSNL 3G and opt in for TATA DOCOMO 3G due to the heavy burst rate ( Every 5-10 seconds it goes to ZERO kbps) You can get more details with screen shot here . Let me explain how to configure Tata Docomo 3G for your unlocked usb modem or data card.

1.Purchase Tata Docomo Sim card. It costs you around 40/- .It is 64K sim card.

2.Next select your 3G data service plan. Plan starts from 90/- ( 200 MB ) to 2000/- ( 15 GB) with 30 days validity.Recharge your prepaid SIM with desired.

3.Send SMS ACT3G to 53333  to activate 3g on your TATA DOCOMO Sim.Upon confirmation remove SIM card from your GSM phone.

4.Insert your SIM card to any unlocked data card. Install as per your hardware provider insturctions.

5.Configure profile with following TATA DOCOMO 3G APN netowrk settings.

Profile name : anything you like toname

APN: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET

Save it and now connect. Enjoy 3G broadband . You can make SMS and voice calls with 3G usb data card also.
