2 years back applied for ICICI b2 branch free savings account. I am one of the early customer to ICICI b2 product. Around 2 years back, service starting days, online portal was filled with software bugs.
1.Unable to update my mobile: First problem faced by is unable to update mobile number.Front end it is taking mobile number but not properly updating at backend. it is considering country code also part of phone number. Due to this I am unable to register any new payee for funds transfer. At that time for staff also it is very new product. After many mail exchanges with screen shots at last dev team fixed that.
2.While registering other banks, drop down menu used to be blank. It should show all banks located the selected city. sent mail to customer care and this time stopped using b2 account.
Current status:
After 1 year, one Sunday just logged in to check still account is there and amount transferred 2 years back still there.To my surprise all problems fixed and my 100 rs became 106/- 
. From that I am using ICICI b2 savings account as my secondary account. No problems, nothing.
How I am using my ICICI b2 branch free account?
From my salary account —- NEFT — B2 account. From b2 account to other banks and bill payments.I am using ewallet ( virtual credit /debit card) for paying hosting fee and other online shopping. I am using this free bank account for Paypal.
NEFT charges are nil for b2 branch free accounts. DD charges are Nil.
ICICI b2 free online savings account service is now working fine and stable. Give a try and see.
