I am a big fan of exploring features of low end phones. Today I explored  Micromax Solar powered mobile phone  x259. You can recharge this mobile phone battery with Solar Power.

It is Java enabled phone but  no social networking apps. I want to install Gtalk,Yahoo Chat on this phone. As usual low-end phones won’t come with PC sync software and detailed tech manuals.

Nimbuzz  is famous for running on all most all low end phones. It is Java app. It enables you to use Gtalk,Yahoo chat.  From their website, found that this model not in list of supported mobiles. So downloaded  near by Mobile model Java application files and tried to install on my Phone. Installation is simple copy following files to your phone and from file manager select .Jad file and click on install. That’s it.

Bingo! it worked. Now I am able to run Gtalk,Yahoo..etc from my phone.

In this way you can install any java application on low end Micromax phones.
