Using BSNL 3G usb card, one can send SMS as well as make voice call from computer or laptop. Lets see how you can do with BSNL 3G data card.

Requirements:

BSNL 3G data card, balance on your BSNL 3g account for making voice calls.

Note: Default 3G usb data card provided by BSNL may not allow you to make voice calls. So I am using unlocked, any network compatible HUAWEI E1550 3G modem. It is available at ebay.in and cheap ( around 1800/-) . Advantage of this card is it will work with any 3g network in INDIA. In case you want to change provider simply change sim thats it.

How to make call

Just insert USB data card to your laptop, it will autoinstall drivers. using mobile-partner application, Connect to BSNL 3g network. You can see “phone book” on top side menu of mobile-partner. Click on it and it will show dial pad. Enter desired phone number click dial .. thats it.Enjoy!!!
