Benq 5000 flatbed scanner windows 7 drivers fix

At last upgraded my desktop from Windows XP to Windows 7. You may wonder what I am still doing with Win XP. Only issue is my Benq 5000 scanner. It works under Windows XP only.

I tried may times but failed to install under Windows 7. Last weekend, Before going shopping for new scanner, I tried  with Uncle Google.I got working solution. Nothing but installing Benq 5000 drivers ( 6.3.5000) using Vista compatible mode.

You can speed up your wordpress blog by 2x using 2 free plugins. Enable html cache and database cache and see the result. You can get multiple cache plugins for wordpress for free.  At present I am using  following plugins.

1. Hyper cache  for html cache 2. Db cache reloaded for database cache. I am seeing good result. So give a try and see.

Hostgator.com now became cheap domain registrar

Hostgator.com – top web hosting company,  now starting its own domain registration services,  I mean now its became domain registrar  like Godaddy.com. Its open challenge is – less price than Godaddy. so Godaddy have a look ( BOB   -  which of your video blog post tip going to stop this gator to eat away your business ..:)  ) .

I am 4 years customer with Godaddy as well as Hostgator. Godaddy for domain registration and Hostgator for hosting. Will gator force me to transfer my 2 dozen domains  from Godaady with its cheap price TAG ? Lets see.

Good free wordpress directory plugin

I want to add link directory capability to my blog. Searched for best wordpress directory plugins. Found which are not compatible to 3.1 version of wordpress. Just I am searching freeware/donationware  wordpress plugins only.

At last I settled with biz directory plugin ( source : http://businessdirectory.squarecompass.com/) .Its very easy to install and configure. So if you want simple link directory service to your blog, I can suggest this spareware plugin.
