Why people always behind desktop appearance or outlook

Desktop appearance  – themes,wallpapers,3D effects….like many addons backed up many huge  desktop computer user base. Why people crazy about desktop outlook?

Windows Vista and Windows 7  even one step ahead and forced to upgrade PC hardware as their desktop effects like  Aero  won’t work on low hardware Systems.

Why this craziness? Any one who uses their PC won’t sit before empty desktop all the time. Just click or select required program and spends time working with program. Am I right?

I am not saying that all should work from Command line or hard to navigate desktop. Normal desktops like Gnome or Windows 98  are not enough?

Instead of concentrating on this over done  graphical stuff, why OS developers concentrate on Efficiency of OS ?

Migrating to latest hardware to run Windows 7 or 2008 is to just for its Desktop graphical effects?

DDOS gangs work like Mafia, Do you support DDOS attacks?

DDOS  the word  shivering major IT organizations. Yesterday Paypal undergone this wave causing 8 hours  of outage. This DDOS operation not against paypal services or there is no wrong with existing Paypal services. Issue is Paypal withdrawn its services to famous wikileaks.

Few days back DDOS attack on Wikileaks due to leakage of USA confidential data to Internet.  Two Gangs supporting Wikileaks and one  not supporting Wikileaks.

Once upon a time DDOS   used to down  a website if it presents any controversial data hurting any one. It related to   religion,race, beliefs  or anything hurting our feelings.

Later criminal DDOS gangs formed and started attack   for money. Unfortunately those gangs supported by Business people and even Governments also.

Now DDOS like toy , “If you don’t like any product in e-bay , DDOS  it and down entire E-bay“, in this way people are   thinking now.

Wristwatch out of fashion EOL it

Due to week off I am at home to day. Mom asked me to replace her watch battery.Its almost 12 years old one :) . Since its invention, Wristwatch gradually became part of our life. Nobody expected that wristwatch will become obsolete until few years back.
Now mobile phone generation, I can say smart phone generation seems out dating wrist watch fashion.All most all now preferring mobile phone to check time.
Students and as well as working men/women now a days skipping wrist watch culture.

What you think ? am I right or not ?

Kaywa even offering QR-code reader for free. So enjoy generate text,sms,phone numbers,urls in QR-code and surprise your friends. qr-code on your T-shit so that girl frirned can scan using her mobile to know where you want to  meet to night :) )

QR code explained – what is qr-code video

QR-code is nothing but 2d bar code where you can present urls,text,sms,phone numbers in graphics format. You can use mobile phone app to scan qr code and use it. You can use any QR-code scanner.

For example: you saw any product with qr code where product company stored url with more description about that prduct. Just use your smart phone and scan qr code and  browse that url to know more details. There are many uses with QR codes.

Use own pen new invisible ink fraud

I became eyewitness of new invisible ink fraud. One of my friend given some forms/checks to some financial agent ( I don’t want to give more details about that transaction). I am also with him while he was filling forms. After few day he realized that  he lost good amount of money from account and after investigation – Police captured culprit agent  and forced him to explain the method he used to fraud. Simple using “PEN”. Yes pen with invisible ink. Once you write with that pen few mins/ hrs what ever you wrote will vanish and agent can write what ever he wants :(

So guys use you own pen  while filling docs/forms/cheque.

Simple time tracking program with reports

Learned the lesson “Time tracking” lately. Weekend experiment changed  my life a Lot. Last month I got silly idea to track one week of my activities and want to see how I am doing.   freeware time managment software

I started searching freeware personal time tracking software with report generation capability. Asked Uncle google and he showed n number of software which too complex or paid versions. At 8th or 9th page of google result I saw wonderful program NCHsoft hourguard. Quickly downloaded, its less than 2 Mb. Amazing its look like developed for my requirement only. What Rav – what happened sudden jump from Tech world to Real world  :) you can ask like that – weekend Tv effect. While checking internet tv I  got couple of channels showing same topic. 2012 – December – 21  earth going to face major destruction due to galactic alignment

One channel showing short documentary about Maya civilization and mentioned as ” a Maya civilization blessed with great amount of space knowledge thousands of years ago. As per their calendar 2012-Dec-21 is last date” .

Blueadvertise,revenueburner,creditburner all of these networks something went wrong showing php error instead of ads. Same error means all are working under fininfo.org :) ..Anybody there to fix, on some sites I am using these ads.

Toyota Safety Recall details and phone numbers

Toyota lanuched Recall of around 98000 vehicles. Its voluntary recall with NHTSA. Good to hear at least not like Nokia :) . Corolla with 1.8 liter engines having issues when operated in very low temperature causing issues when applying breaks.
